Create a Powerful Learning Culture that Supports Your Upskilling Strategy
Helping people learn and build skills for the future has never been more important. In addition to providing employees with the tools and technologies that support their skill-building, it’s also imperative to create a strong learning culture to support them in their journey. Culture is defined as shared values and beliefs, so how can you get people across the organization aligned?
Employees should be excited about learning and developing new skills. As a manager or leader, that means giving workers autonomy, purpose, and ownership over their development. People should be able to decide how and when they learn so they are motivated to build new skills. Employees should also understand the value, possibilities, and rewards of making time for learning. All of this is part of developing a strong learning culture. Developing this culture takes time, but in the end, it will advance your upskilling strategy and make your business stronger.
We invite you to spend time with a business leader who has implemented and consulted on many successful learning and upskilling strategies across the globe: Kelly Palmer -- Chief Learning & Talent Officer of Degreed and co-author of The Expertise Economy: how the smartest companies use learning to engage, compete and succeed.
Upskilling not only helps people advance their careers but also creates real value for your business. Kelly, along with other learning and talent leaders, will take an industry look at how companies are building strong learning cultures and why learning cultures are so critical for creating successful upskilling strategies. We’ll share examples of how some of the most forward-thinking companies are establishing powerful learning cultures for their organizations.
Specifically, we will discuss how you can:
Ultimately, creating a learning culture is critical for building the foundation of your learning and skill-building journey. We look forward to a thoughtful conversation and hope you’re able to attend.

More about venue

You don't have to say much about the premises of the EVENTRESIDENZ - built in 1905, the old lady is one of the few remains of old cinema architecture. As such, it was used intermittently until 2000. Since 2000, this unique space has been operated as an event location and discotheque. In the summer of 2017, a renovation lasting several weeks took place, which substantiates the architectural origin. Its radiance extends far beyond the city limits.
